The Brief
After completing the enabling works for Parthian and Landsec. Oakwhite bring 3 units together to create one of the largest climbing centres in London.
The Fitout
The unit is spread over 2 levels with a main stair core by the reception desk. The ground floor comprised of a gymnasium, reception area, offices, kitchen, and toilet facilities. Level 2 bouldering, Bottom rope climbing, clip and climb. Toilets, changing cubicles and showers. There is also a mezzanine on the 2nd level which gives views over the bouldering area with table and chairs. Oakwhite installed all new mechanical and electrical, flooring decorations and reception desk. One of the requests by the client was to reuse as much materials as possible from a cost saving and sustainability point. Doors, AC units, condensers, AHU, toilets, sinks and kitchen apparatuses from the original units.

Working on a very tight timescale they implemented the enabling works to combine 3 large redundant Units to provide 22,000 sq ft of prime leisure space.
